1. Introduction & Overview

At Wallpaper Lab (accessible from https://wallpaperlab.dev), one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of information that is collected and recorded by Wallpaper Lab and how we utilize it.

If you have additional questions or require more information about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact our team via email at privacy@wallpaperlab.dev.

2. Zero Server Storage of Artwork Guarantee

Wallpaper Lab is an entirely client-side, browser-native web application. All wallpaper generation, canvas manipulations, mathematical renders, seed algorithms, and high-resolution image exports happen strictly within your local browser's memory and IndexedDB storage.

We never upload, inspect, copy, or store your custom artwork, color schemes, text entries, or project files on any external server or cloud database. Your creative output remains solely on your personal computer or mobile device.

3. Cookies and Web Beacons

Like many professional websites, Wallpaper Lab may use "cookies". These cookies are used to store basic user preferences (such as your chosen display language or theme configuration) and records of pages accessed. The information is utilized to optimize user experience and ensure smooth navigation.

You can choose to disable cookies through your individual browser options. More detailed information about cookie management with specific web browsers can be found at the browsers' respective websites.

4. Google DoubleClick DART Cookies & Third-Party Advertising

Google is one of our third-party vendors. It also uses cookies, known as DART cookies, to serve ads to our site visitors based upon their visit to wallpaperlab.dev and other sites on the internet.

Visitors may choose to decline the use of DART cookies by visiting the Google Ad and Content Network Privacy Policy at the following URL: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Third-party ad servers or ad networks use technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that may appear on Wallpaper Lab. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalize advertising content that you see. Wallpaper Lab has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.

5. Log Files

Wallpaper Lab follows a standard procedure of utilizing log files through our static hosting infrastructure (e.g. Cloudflare Pages). These files log visitors when they visit websites. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
